Teton Gravity Research recently got wind of our little venture operation here at Pallas Snowboards. And when TGR’s snowboard editor and fierce lady ripper MacKenzie Ryan sat down with Pallas founder Stephanie Nitsch, there was a lot of inspiring conversation that transpired on the topic of women’s snowboarding and the state of women’s snowboard gear.
But here at Pallas, building expert-level women’s gear is just one piece of the mission. What really drives us is building and living a philosophy that encourages our chromosomal counterparts (anyone, actually) to follow their curiosity and open up a new world of knowledge. (Hey, what can we say? We love learning.) Whether that’s taking your first avalanche course and breaking beyond the resort boundaries or tapping into the art and skill of home brewing, by following any inkling of curiosity may very well open you up to a new passion and hobby.
Speaking of, in the near future we’ll be debuting a blog series of interviews with professional women who have followed their passions and have become an expert in their respective industry, craft or trade. We hope you will join us and share your story, too.
Until next time…
