You bet! Click here to reserve your board. You'll have 4 days to ride and decide before we request that you return the board. Please note that demo reservations must be made a minimum of 10 days in advance.
FYI: we aren't a traditional workshop and we don't have traditional shop hours. Someone's usually in the shop between 1-5p on weekdays...but not always. Once we confirm your demo, we'll work with you to figure out a time to come by.
For individual demo requests, we do require advanced reservations 10 days (or more) in advance of your requested demo date. Please click here to reserve a demo board.
For on-snow demos, we typically operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, at special events like splitboard festivals, advanced reservations have priority. On-the-spot demos at splitboard festivals will be limited to what is left in stock.
There is no cost to demo a board locally or at an on-snow demo.
For individual local demos, we do require a refundable security deposit prior to your pickup, so you may see a charge on your credit card during the length of your demo.
At on-snow, in-person demos, we will take your credit card information as a deposit.
Under any circumstance, if you return the board (or any demo equipment) damaged, we may charge you the cost of repair or replacement, up to the full MSRP value of the board. You are financially responsible for stolen demo equipment, so please treat our demo gear like it's your own.
Sorry, homegirl. Our demos are meant to give you an idea of what owning your very own Pallas will feel like. While we want you to have a great time on the snow, please understand that we're not a rental company for your upcoming yurt trip. If you love the board after 4 days, we'd love you back tenfold if you chose to support our small business.
Sometimes. For in-person events and clinics, we have a limited supply of bindings and skins available. The earlier you RSVP for event demos, the better chance we have of helping you out. For local pick-ups / demos, we are able to provide skins only on a case-by-case basis.
Online Demo Program
Online snowboard and splitboard demos are free. However, all demo boards require a full deposit based on the board’s MSRP before we ship. If you decide to purchase a Pallas after demoing, we’ll apply your deposit towards the purchase of a new board, and your demo is entirely free. If you decide that Pallas isn’t for you, we will refund your deposit, minus $100 to cover the cost of round-trip shipping and maintenance.
Online demos are only available to residents with the Lower 48 within the US. Due to the logistics, slower shipping times, and cost, we’re unable to provide mail order demos to Alaska and Canada. Click here to browse our list of Canadian dealers who might be able to provide you with a demo.

We generally ship demo boards 1 day a week. We ship via UPS Ground, which can take up to 5 days from shipment, depending on where you live. Please note that we require a signature upon delivery, meaning someone needs to be at home for you to receive your board on time.
Online snowboard and splitboard demos are available for a maximum of 4 days. In-bounds or in the backcountry, take it for a spin wherever you’d like! The demo program is intended as a “try before you buy” program, not as a rental board to thrash around. Please treat your demo with respect so others can experience the same stoke throughout the season.
Bindings, binding mounting systems and / or splitboard skins are NOT included for any online Pallas demo. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Most likely, yes! Splitboard skins are somewhat universal when you're switching from one splitboard to another.
If they're too narrow or wide by few millimeters, it won't affect your skinning.
If your tail clips aren't compatible with a Pallas splitboard demo, don't sweat it. We suggest removing the tail clip hardware and skinning without them. Skins will still work without tail clips.
For sure! However, we can only provide 1 board at a time, and each board beyond the first demo will cost $100 to cover round-trip shipping.
If you damage a board during your demo period, please be transparent and let us know how it happened. Depending on the severity of the damage, we may charge you a repair or replacement fee, up to the full retail value of the board. If we determine the damage to be a result of a manufacturing defect, any fines will be exempt. We assess boards for damage before they’re shipped and after they’re returned to ensure they’re in top working condition for the next rider.
We provide you with a prepaid UPS Ground return label in the box. To send the demo back, please clean and dry the board, wrap the board in the original packing material, and repack it in its original box. Simply place the return label over the demo box’s existing label and drop it off at any staffed UPS location. You won’t be charged any shipping fees** when you return the demo with the prepaid return label.
**Be sure to ONLY use the provided return shipping label for returning demos as this will guarantee insurance, tracking, and proper return for demos. Customers are responsible for providing a tracking number if returned by another shipping method.
If you ship the board late, there is a late fee of $75 per day until tracking information has indicated it’s been shipped. If you’re more than 7 days late and we’re unable to reach you, we will keep your full deposit and not issue you a refund.
Our demo fleet is stocked with new and / or gently used boards. If you receive a gently used board and decide to keep it, we may offer you a small discount based on its condition.
Whether you receive a new OR a gently used board, if you choose to purchase your demo board, we'll waive the shipping fee. If you are a Utah resident and purchase a demo board, we will waive the Utah sales tax.
If we send you a NEW demo board still in its wrapper and decide to purchase it, we will honor our full 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Unfortunately, gently used demo boards do not come with a manufacturer's warranty. We inspect all used demo boards before they're shipped to ensure they're free of manufacturing defects. However, because we do not know where or how a demo board has been ridden, we are unable to provide our full warranty coverage if you purchase a used demo board.
