The Brand + Boards
As the story goes in some Greek mythology, Pallas was childhood friends with Athena, goddess of war, art, and wisdom. The two were playing a mock battle, as you do when you grow up in a family with such lineage, when Athena accidentally killed Pallas. In an act of grievance for her friend, Athena took Pallas’s name in honor, and is known in some Greek mythology as Pallas-Athena.
Our headquarters are located in Salt Lake City, Utah, where we hand-build new designs, prototypes, and a few one-off boards. The boards you see in our lineup are responsibly manufactured in China by a factory that prides themselves on high ethics and standards.

Pallas wouldn’t exist without our friends at Chimera Backcountry Snowboards. Since day one, we’ve shared workshops, tools, materials, designs, and ideas while ensuring that we’re doing it slightly different from each other. Where Pallas brings high-performance boards to women and smaller, nimble riders, Chimera fills the size gap with wider, longer, or stiffer boards. We lovingly call them our brother brand, and Pallas their sister brand. See what Chimera’s up to, if you haven’t already.
Short answer, no. We run a small operation and don’t currently have the resources or infrastructure to customize details, materials, specs, or artwork. However, if you’re feeling that Pallas boards don’t quite have the right specs for you, have a peek at the boards made by our brother brand, Chimera Snowboards. We might have the materials to whip up a hand-built Chimera board, but with Pallas graphics. If something catches your eye, shoot us an email at info@pallassnowboards.com.
While we can say for certain that it’s an incredible feeling to ride a board you’ve built, unfortunately we don’t allow customers or adoring fans to build a Pallas board of their own.
This is such a personal preference, but we’re happy to offer fit support once you’ve browsed our collection of snowboards. Send us a short email to info@pallassnowboards.com with details about your height, weight, boot size, riding style, and terrain choices, and we’ll help narrow down your choices.
Note that the Zeitgeist and Epiphany models are designed to be downsized from your normal board length. The Zeitgeist by 4-5cm and the Epiphany by 2-3cm.
Orders, Shipping + Warranty
Theoretically we ship all over the world, though it gets pretty expensive to ship to Europe, Australia, Japan, or anywhere outside of North America (USA and Canada) once you factor in customs or duties on top of shipping fees. But then again, can you really put a price on finding your dream board?
For European customers, please head to our dealer page and contact one of our European stores, as shipping is much cheaper from within Europe.
In the Lower 48 (USA), we alternate between UPS, FedEx and USPS.
For Alaska, Hawaii, APOs, outlying territories, and all other countries, we ship USPS.
Regardless of the carrier, we’ll send you a tracking number once its shipped. If you have shipping instructions (like your shipping address can't be used for USPS), please email us at info@pallassnowboards.com with your order number to ensure we select the right carrier.
We're so sorry, but due to limited resources, we've had to suspend local pickups for the time being. We hope to offer local pickups again soon.
Sezzle is currently only set up for residents with a valid payment form and shipping address within the United States and Canada. If you’re residing outside these countries, you’ll need to pay for your order in full. If you’re still experiencing issues, we suggest contacting Sezzle directly.
Our boards generally ship within 2 business days of placing your order. If you have questions about your order or curious about its status, please email us at info@pallassnowboards.com.
Yes. We manually cancel orders, so you’ll need to contact us to initiate it. Please email us at info@pallassnowboards.com with your order number.
While we hope you love your board, we know that we’re not for everyone. Read our returns and exchange policy, then give us a holler by emailing info@pallassnowboards.com with your proof of purchase, and we’ll help you get your new, unused board sent back or traded in for a different Pallas model (based on availability). Customers will be responsible for all return shipping costs. We do not offer returns or exchanges on used or ridden boards.
First, if you see damage to your board, stop riding it! Continued use of a damaged board could render it irreparable and may void the warranty. Next, read our warranty policy, which explains what is and is not covered by our 3-year warranty. If you think you have a valid warranty issue, contact the retailer you purchased the board from to initiate a warranty claim. We believe in our craftsmanship and the materials we use, and we will do what we can to get you back on your feet. Our warranty policy applies only to the original owner of the board.
For warranty issues on boards purchased through pallassnowboards.com, email us at info@pallassnowboards.com with proof of purchase and an explanation of what’s happening.
Sorry, all warranties are void with the purchase of a Pallas demo board from us or our demo partners. While we try to keep our demo boards in good, working condition, we don’t know where they’ve been, who’s ridden them, or what kind of slams the board (or rider) has taken. However, if you see unexplainable damage to your board within 1 year of purchasing a demo board, please email us at info@pallassnowboards.com with a proof of purchase. We are happy to assess the situation and provide solutions to get you back on board.
